2 new speesees teammates! *

growing out + down

speesees first lived at 2325 third street suite #413, where we (rachel) existed in a 300 square foot space with boxes piled to the ceiling surrounding the solitary desk. precarious, indeed. then we (rachel + jen) moved into #342, an 800 square foot space, that within the last year+, we have grown out of...to say the least. last week we (rachel + jen + kathy + charity + newbies amy + erika) acquired a new space downstairs (#219) & are creating a new speesees fufillment center in addition to our #342 headquarters. 'tis very exciting, indeed. pictures acomin'.

yes, it's been too long! but there's no time like the present to jump back on the wagon...er...get back on the horse...um...wake up & smell the coffee (fair trade coffee, of course). so, yes: we're back.

there has been quite a lot happening here at speesees; new peeps, new spaces, new news. we just returned from the green festival in washington, dc, where we made our east coast appearance. the weather was warmer than it has been since 1931, so i was actually a wee bit thankful for the convention center air conditioning i usually scorn. i took copious notes during frances moore lappe's discussion of the new democracy (which i plan to share shortly) & visited with fellow green business owners (to-go ware, alter eco, swirlspace). pics acomin' of our booth & the various speesees we met along the way.
